I am a private-pay practice and do not accept insurance. I provide superbills upon request for clients seeking out-of-network reimbursement, if applicable.
My fee is $200 per session for individual psychotherapy and $75 per session for group therapy.
My physical office is located in Newport Beach, California. I also offer telehealth services for California residents.
I have a 48-hour cancellation policy. Sessions canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice are charged at the full session fee.
If you are seeking depth-oriented therapy, this may be a good fit. While pacing is always tailored to the individual, depth-oriented therapy is generally longer-term and focused on understanding underlying patterns rather than solely reducing symptoms.
If you have tried therapy in the past and did not find it helpful, depth-oriented therapy may offer something different. When therapy is primarily focused on symptom management, the underlying roots of suffering can be missed. Exploring these deeper layers often allows for more sustainable change over time.
Although I have experience working in settings that utilize short-term and solution-focused approaches, my private practice is primarily oriented toward longer-term, depth-oriented therapy. When working relationally, pacing and duration become important aspects of the process.
Sessions are 45–50 minutes in length. A brief range is offered to allow for a more organic ending to sessions, rather than ending abruptly by the clock.
I offer a free 15-minute consultation as an initial space for us to get a sense of one another and your hopes for therapy. It is also an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about how I approach this work. Fit is important, and the consultation allows us both to consider whether working together is appropriate.
Most people begin meeting once per week. Frequency may shift over time depending on your needs and where we are in the therapeutic process.
At times, increasing to twice-weekly sessions may be clinically indicated and would be discussed collaboratively. As therapy moves toward completion, we typically discuss gradually spacing sessions out (i.e. biweekly, then monthly) with ample time to process the transition.
My work is grounded in relational psychodynamic and existential frameworks. I also have training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
EFT was the first modality I trained in and is where I developed a strong foundation in attachment, attunement, and relational dynamics. I am also certified in the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), a nervous-system–informed intervention that may be integrated when clinically appropriate.
I work extensively with trauma, dissociation, and complex relational patterns. Much of this work involves relational trauma stemming from family, intimate relationships, and broader social and cultural contexts. These experiences can shape how people relate to themselves and others, and are often central to the work we explore together.
